Beritamerdekaonline.com, Jakarta – Kapolda Metro Jaya Irjen Karyoto memeriksa kelayakan peralatan, senjata, dan kendaraan taktis (rantis) yang dimiliki Direktorat Samapta Polda Metro Jaya, Senin (8/5/2023).
Pemeriksaan tersebut dilakukan guna memastikan setiap perlengkapan masih layak digunakan untuk menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban ibu kota Jakarta menjelang 2024.
“Menjelang (penganggaran) 2024, tentunya ini menjadi bahan evaluasi kami juga terhadap kemampuan peralatan yang kami miliki,” ujar Karyoto di Lapangan Presisi Polda Metro Jaya, Senin (8/5/2023).
“Kalau yang mungkin sudah rusak berat, ya kami tentunya akan mengajukan kepada Mabes Polri untuk penggantian maupun penambahan,” tuturnya.
Menurut Karyoto, pengecekan sudah mulai dilakukan agar setiap kerusakan peralatan maupun rantis di Polda Metro Jaya dapat segera diperbaiki.
Selain itu, penggantian ataupun penambahan perlengkapan yang diperlukan juga bisa segera diajukan kepada Mabes Polri untuk tahun anggaran 2024.
“Jika terdapat kerusakan ringan, segera dilakukan perbaikan. Jangan menunggu-nunggu agar tampilan personel di lapangan semakin baik,” kata Karyoto.
Menurutnya, persiapan jelang pesta demokrasi 2024 agar tersiapkan dengan baik.
“Kalau memang sudah tidak bisa diperbaiki, segera dihapuskan. Tentunya dalam anggaran yang dipersiapkan pada 2024, kami ajukan penambahan,” tuturnya.(@ms)
